Current Activities / Involvement

I graduated law school in 2020 and was immediately thrust into one of the hottest real estate markets in decades. Now that I have gotten settled in and the market has cooled down a little bit, I look at this as the perfect vehicle to getting involved in my community.

Major Barriers

After graduating and passing the Bar exam my life essentially revolved around work. While Covid put many others at a standstill the residential real estate market went through the roof. Now that I have had the chance to get my bearings on what direction to take my practice. I believe it is the perfect time for me to become more involved in the community that I grew up in and begin giving back.

Community Challenge / Issue / Goal

I have always had a passion for reading and staying active. I firmly believe that reading is the foundation of education and future success later in life. The same can be said about physical activity. The library is a place for everyone and underutilized. I have very fond memories of the public library here in Lebanon and I would like to raise awareness to get more people in its doors. With all the negativity that the youth face these days, I would love to see a program combine and incentivize the two (reading and physical activity).

Education: High School

Lebanon High School

Education: College

MTSU

Education: Graduate Level

Nashville School of Law

Education: Academic Awards

I have always excelled in my studies in both my undergraduate and graduate education. I am very proud of myself for graduating law school 25th in a class that started out with 120 people. The Bar exam that was given in 2020 was especially trying due to the pandemic and I passed it the first try.

Education: Extracurricular & Leadership

Current member of the 15th Judicial District and Nashville Bar Association. In my free time I enjoy reading, playing chess and staying active. I grew up in the Boy Scouts going on to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. For my Eagle Project I organized and coordinated a community book drive to construct a library for what is now Wilson Manor in my late grandmother's honor. I am also a stripped blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Professor Michael Kelso.

Company / Job Responsibilities

Attorney specializing in the sale and transfer of residential real estate, estate planning and the subsequent hurdles involved in probate process.

Participation Expectations

Only in understanding my community can I be an asset and be utilized in my community. It is my hope that I will gain a better understanding of its inner workings, all the while making new friends and connections with like-minded people. Such an opportunity would be invaluable to me both personally and professionally. On top of that it sounds like fun.
